Bernie Sanders Rally in Salem, Ore.

A woman at the Bernie Sanders rally sells these homemade pins for $5 each to supporters waiting in line. The Sanders rally took place in Salem, Ore., on May 9 at the Salem Armory.

Iraq Veteran Doug Fetz shows his support for Sanders. Fetz explained how he supports Sanders' plan to better the medical treatment for combat vets.

As the crowd eagerly awaits Bernie Sanders' arrival, two supporters tied an American flag and a Mexican Flag together as a sign of unity. These two supporters demonstrated their disdain with Donald Trump's views about Mexico, and wanted to show their support for Sanders' policies regarding immigrants.
